Note: all actions will take into
effect immediately after pressing the action buttons at the bottom of the
window.
Note: it's strongly recommended
that you get a backup of any tool before handling. You should restore the
backed tool when any inconsistency occurs to your system.
LSP Manager: The Winsock Layered
service provider (LSP) is intended to control the internet connection flow
or block web sites. The installed LSP modules in your system will appear in
the LSP list; you may check the Details section and check for a strange
Module name.
Startup Manager: The startup
programs that will be launched at the windows startup are listed here;
removing any item will prevent it from being run at windows startup.
BHO Manager: BHO is an
abbreviation for Browser Helper Objects which is installed on your system
and being loaded with internet explorer or windows explorer, they may
control or change the internet follow and block web sites in IE.
Hosts file manager: the hosts
file is a system file located in the system directory. It contains a
mapping of web sites and their IP's; it may block or redirect web sites.
The list will contain the Hosts file entries.
IE Toolbars manager: the list will contain the
installed IE toolbars in your system.
